Disney’s newest cruise ship to arrive in late 2021 has been officially named…the DISNEY WISH. Information on the ship is limited at this time, but we do know that the back of the ship will feature Rapunzel! We will add details as soon as they become available. We are also being asked when you can book reservations for the Disney WISH cruise ship. Disney Cruise Line will begin taking reservations for cruises aboard its new ship, the Disney WISH, in late 2020. The Disney Wish is scheduled for delivery in late 2021 and will set sail in January 2022. The names of sixth and seventh ships which are also on order, were not announced.



Epcot, which opened in 1982, has plenty of BIG changes coming. The entrance to the park will have a different look with pathways and green spaces and a re-imagined fountain. The existing World Showcase will be joined by Future World: World Celebration, World Nature, and World Discovery. World Showcase will get an attraction inspired by Mary Poppins. The area will feature their own version of Cherry Tree Lane, allowing guests to walk its cobblestone street like Jane and Michael banks. Will it be a show or a ride, is soon to be announced. We are sure it will be “practically perfect in every way!” The France Pavilion, which will house Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure attraction, will also get the Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along in January of 2020.

World Nature will get Journey of Water, an experience themed around the Disney film Moana and a new film Awesome Planet.

IllumiNations Reflections of Earth will be replaced by HarmonioUS in 2020, a show that includes floating set pieces, LED panels, moving fountains and pyrotechnics. An interim nighttime show “Epic Forever” will run between the two.

The forthcoming World Celebration area of Epcot will house the park’s Spaceship Earth, which will undergo a renovation that will include new narration replacing the voice of Judy Dench, a new musical score and a new story line that will focus on the power of storytelling. World Celebration will also have a three-level pavilion for live events and festivals.

In World Discovery’s Mission: Space pavilion, a new restaurant, Space 220 will make guests feel as if they are in a space station. The concept involves having to “travel,” to get to the dining location, and getting there is half the adventure! You will ride an elevator that gives you simulated views of Earth. Once guests arrive into the dining room there are virtual views of space.

Guardian of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will be Disney’s first roller coaster featuring a reverse launch and World Discovery will house interactive games in the Play pavilion. It will be enclosed. The roller coaster is expected to open in 2021.

Disney Fall Food Items are back! Disney offers some amazing unique treats for Halloween and fall. Creative name like Jack Skellington Cake Push pop, Not-so-poison apple cupcake and the Minnie Witch Brownie to the apple cider, warm caramel stuffed pretzels and cinnamon donut holes, there is something for everyone. If you are a looking for gluten free, the worms & dirt inspired by the haunted mansion at Pecos Bill Take Inn & cafe is available.

The Disney Store will be at 56 select Target locations this fall. The first 25 locations will open in October and another 40 by October of 2020. The Disney store at Target will be a collection of games, costumes, accessories and toys.

In November, Disney is removing their movies from Netflix and launching their own service that will include Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars. Disney Plus is about half the price of Netflix, and not limited to classic Disney films.
