Trafalgar Tours is committed to bringing back travel & doing it safely. In light of COVID and people wanting to travel in their own “bubble,” Trafalgar Tours 2021 will offer private trips for groups of 12 or more, helping the travelers that are wary of venturing out on land tours with strangers. Most of Trafalgar’s winter and spring itineraries for Europe and North America are included.
On these private tours, every detail will be taken care of by the guides and the new well-being travel directors. Each trip is designed for ease and comfort, as well as safety. Create a private and exclusive travel experience for just you and your family & friends.
Experience the magic of the European Christmas Markets, or travel through ancient Italian cities with just your group. If you want to stay closer to home, consider the Trafalgar Tours National Parks, Canada, or Fall foliage tours.
Pricing includes a per-person surcharge on top of the normal group rates, with the additional charges based on the size of your group.
For 12 to 15 guests a 30% charge pp would be added to the advertised price. If you have 16 to 19 guests, pay just 20 percent surcharge, and 20 to 25 guests are 10%. If you have 26 travelers in your group, there will be no surcharge for a private tour guide and driver.
This is a small price to pay for “peace of mind.”
In other news, Trafalgar Tours is showing its appreciation of teachers by running a contest to nominate a deserving teacher with a free vacation. Any teacher can be nominated and anyone is eligible to make the nomination. If you know of a deserving teacher who has changed the lives of a student and is creatively navigating the obstacles ahead this year, go to Trafalgar.com and click on Teachers Open the World. Nominations will be reviewed on November 6, and a winner will be announced by November 16.
The winning teacher will receive a trip for 2 plus airfare for redemption by December 31, 2021. All nominees will receive a $100 credit towards select trips.
Trafalgar’s U.S. president states “ It takes a special person to be a teacher, and a really special person to tackle the challenges of completely rewriting the way they teach, let alone risking their own health.”
This is a wonderful gesture from Trafalgar and good luck to all the applicants.
