Royal Caribbean Cruises announced changes to the Adventure of the Seas, Jewel of the Seas, Independence of the Seas, Vision of the Seas, and Brilliance of the Seas for 2021.
If you booked through a travel agent, you should already have received information on the Independence of the Seas and Brilliance of the Seas changes. We have been advised by Royal Caribbean that all affected bookings traveling April through October 2021, will be contacted within the next 3 weeks.
The cruise line’s announcement included that these changes will offer travelers a “greater variety” of options. Cruise passengers can expect new itineraries short Mediterranean cruises from Barcelona and more island time in the Caribbean.
Royal Caribbean Ship & Itinerary Changes for 2021
- The Adventure of the Seas will be moved from Scandinavia and offer 4 & 5 night Mediterranean itineraries.
- The Jewel of the Seas was initially going to cruise from Amsterdam & Barcelona. This ship will now sail from Stockholm & Copenhagen on 7-night cruises of the Baltics and Scandinavia.
- The Independence of the Seas will sail from Miami versus Ft. Lauderdale with alternating 6 & 8-night cruises to the Southern & Western Caribbean.
- The Vision of the Seas is being moved from Europe to San Juan so cruise the Southern Caribbean islands.
- Brilliance of the Seas will be moved from Miami to Tampa and offer 4, 5 & 7-night sailings to the Caribbean and Mexico.
