Disney Cruise Line has just announced the Disney Wonder will sail to Hawaii in 2022 with 10-night Island sailings. The Wonder will sail from Honolulu to Vancouver on April 26 and sail a return journey on May 6th. The sailings will give guests the opportunity to explore Waikiki in Oahu, the summit of Haleakala Crater on Maui, and the waterfall in Kauai.
Updated schedules have also been announced for other Disney ships and ports of call.
The Disney Fantasy will kick off 2022 from Port Canaveral sailing a six-night Western Caribbean Cruise and followed by seven-night cruises to the Western and Eastern Caribbean.
The Disney Dream will sail three and four-night Bahamian cruises that include stops at Disney’s Castaway Cay from Port Canaveral.
The Disney Magic will homeport in Miami sailing four and five-night Western Caribbean sailings including one special three-night sailing to Castaway Cay and Key West.
The Disney Wonder will start the year in Galveston, Texas, sailing four-night Western Caribbean cruises and then move to New Orleans doing four and six-night sailings. For March and April, the Wonder moves to San Diego and sails the Baja, Mexico including some stops in Cabo San Lucas and Catalina Island.
The new ship, Disney Wish should debut in early 2022 due to Covid-19 delays at the shipyard. Itineraries should be released soon.
Disney noted that 2022 will feature a change in stateroom categories to make things “more intuitive” for guests. If you are looking for guided tours of Hawaii perhaps a Hawaii tour package is more your style.
