Which Cruise Lines Are Sailing Now?

The most exciting news in the past two weeks is that cruising is back!

We are pleased to share that many cruise companies have outlined timelines or have returned to cruising. Itineraries available for U.S. guests include mainland USA (16 ships), Alaska (7 ships), Caribbean/Bermuda (9 ships), Europe/Mediterranean (7 ships), Iceland (3 ships), Galapagos (3 ships), and more.

American Cruise Line

In March, American Cruise Lines started cruises with the Independence, the American Star cruise ship on their Historic South itinerary, and the American Jazz and Queen of the Mississippi ship along the Mississippi River. In April they resumed Columbia and Snake river cruises with the American Song, American Harmony, American Pride, Queen of the West cruise ships. The American Constitution will be sailing the Chesapeake Bay and the American Spirit and American Constellation Puget Sound. On August 27th the American Melody will cruise the Mississippi river as well.

American Queen Steamboat Cruises

The American Duchess and American Countess cruise ship are currently cruising the Mississippi River.

Azamara Club Cruises

Azamara will resume sailings with the following itineraries and ships:

  • Azamara Quest – Greece Intensive voyages – August 28, 2021
  • Azamara Journey – Greece Intensive voyages – October 13, 2021
  • Azamara Pursuit – Greece Intensive voyages – September 28, 2021

Celebrity Cruises

Celebrity Millennium – Caribbean cruises from St. Maarten – June 5
Celebrity Apex – Mediterranean cruises from Athens, Greece – June 19

Crystal Cruises

On July 3rd the Crystal Serenity will start 7-night cruises from Nassau. July 17th the Crystal Endeavor ship will sail 10 nights out of Reykjavik, Iceland. August 5th the Crystal Symphony will offer 10-night Caribbean sailings from Antigua.

Lindblad Expeditions

June 4th National Geographic Endeavour II will sail 9 night Galapagos
June 5th National Geographic Quest will sail 7 night Alaska Cruises
June 6th National Geographic Venture will sail 7 night Alaska Cruises

Norwegian Cruise Line

The earliest Norwegian Cruise Line’s cruises will resume is July 2021. NCL’s 2021 Alaska cruising season has been suspended indefinitely while Canada has barred passenger cruising in its waters.

The company’s ships are suspended through the following corresponding dates:

  • Norwegian Joy Cruises out of Jamaica Resume: August 7, 2021
  • Norwegian Jade Cruises out of Athens Resume: July 25, 2021
  • Norwegian Gem Cruises out of Dominican Republic Resume: August 7, 2021
  • The NCL Epic will cruise 7 night Western Mediterranean itinerary from Sept 5th – October 24th.
  • The NCL Getaway 10 & 11 Greek Isles voyage from Rome Sept 13th – October 25, 2021.

Oceania Cruises

Oceania has slated Oceania Marina to resume service on August 29, 2021 for its Copenhagen to Stockholm cruise. It will continue to sail afterwards on ensuing itineraries. The company will announce more news on other ships to return to cruising soon.

Regent Seven Seas Cruises

Regent Seven Seas will return to cruising with Regent Seven Seas Splendor’s roundtrip cruise from Southampton, England on September 11, 2021.

Royal Caribbean Cruises

On June 26th the Adventure of the Seas will offering 7 night Bahamas cruises and the Vision of the Seas 7 night Bermuda cruises. The Jewel of the Seas will sail out of Limassol, Cyprus starting July 10th.

Seabourn Cruises

Seabourn Cruises, (Carnival Cruises luxury sister line,) announced it will launch from Greece, out of Athens, on July 3. Sailings would be open to fully vaccinated guests. The Seabourn Ovation will operate a seven-day itinerary to Nafplion on the Peloponnese; the Greek islands of Crete, Rhodes and Mykonos; and Limassol, Cyprus. Another itinerary will visit Paphos, Cyprus and the Greek islands of Patmos, Rhodes, Santorini and Spetses.

Silversea Cruises

Silversea Cruises will be launching Eastern Mediterranean cruises on the Silver Moon in late spring from Athens. Starting on June 18, the 596 passenger Silver Moon cruise ship will offer nine, 10-day roundtrip sailings from Piraeus (Athens port city). Stops will include Santorini, Paros, Mykonos and Crete. In Israel, the ship will call at Ashod in the south and Haifa in the north. The Seabourn Odyssey cruise ship will operate 7-night cruises from Barbados to several destinations in the Southern Caribbean, including ports of call in Antigua, the British Virgin Islands, Dominica, Grenada, St. Lucia, St. Maarten and St. Kitts.

UnCruise Adventures

The Safari Quest is sailing the Pacific Northwest on 7-night cruises. La Pinta begins Galapagos cruises at the end of April. UnCruise Adventures will have several ships in Alaska this season including the Wilderness Legacy, Wilderness Discovered, Wilderness Explorer, Safari Explorer, and Wilderness Adventurer.
