Oberammergau Passion Play has Limited Dates & Space

The Tauck Oberammergau Experience

Tauck has been taking guests to the Passion Play for the past 3 decades. If you choose a Tauck Oberammergau Tour you will be treated to premier seating at the outdoor venue in the best available category (and should there be a passing rainstorm, there’s a retractable roof). On performance day, during the intermission, you’ll enjoy a dinner that includes wine and German beer. And you will stay in accommodations that reflect their unique Bavarian locales. Start picking out your Tauck Tour today.

The Passion Play (Passionsspiele)

The Passion Play at Oberammergau has been performed once every ten years, in the Bavarian village of Oberammergau, since the 1630s. Today’s Passionsspiele is based largely on text and music created in the early 19th century, performed in German; Tauck guests will be provided with English text, making it easy to follow along. Every performer is a village resident, enacting scenes that are a blend of orchestral and choral music – and they create a spectacular performance event second to none.

Once-in-a-Lifetime Experience

2022 departures on these land tours and river cruises featuring a performance of the once-in-a-decade Passion Play run through September – but there’s limited space available.
