Each year hundreds of people gather together to help with the annual Napa Valley grape stomp. This year in Napa Valley there are two celebrations being held for the annual grape stomp.
If you have never experienced a grape stomp before you will want to. You not only get to put your own two feet into the creation of some very delicious wines, but you also have the chance to understand the makings of wine and why it tastes so delicious. If you are someone that is a wine enthusiast, then traveling to Napa Valley for grape stomping season is a must.
This year on September 25 the PEJU Winery of Napa Valley is putting together their Harvest Party and Grape Stomp. It is their biggest event that they host each year. Guests will begin their day pressing the wine the old fashioned way during the grape stomp competition. After the competition guests get to enjoy an elegant and relaxing dinner following by dancing underneath the stars within the Peju gardens. For those wanting to attend this event fees are $150 for guests and $130 for wine club members.
Also at the Schweiger Vineyards the Old World Harvest Grape Stomp is held from September 16 to October 7 from 10am to 2pm each day. During this event guests will have the opportunity to participate in the Brix test, pick and stomp grapes and also enjoy their old fashioned harvest lunch and wine. You also get the lug box to keep from their vineyard. If you are interested in attending this book early, spots fill up fast. For those wanting to attend this event fees are $150 for guests and $125 for wine club members.
