Disney Dream Review

A leader in the family cruise segment, Disney offers something for everyone. Each voyage includes the attention to detail and world-class hospitality Disney is famous for. Disney Cruise Line® was also recently named the top cruise line in the mega-ship category by readers of Condé Nast Traveler magazine.

One of the best things about a Disney cruise is that nearly everything is included in the price. While onboard, select from numerous activities at themed venues, savor one-of-a-kind Rotational Dining and enjoy exclusive Broadway-quality, Disney musicals. Staterooms are family-size – larger than industry standard with ample storage space to stretch out in style and comfort. As an added convenience, most staterooms feature a “split bath-and-a-half” allowing 2 people to use the space at the same time.

Disney Dream™

The Disney Dream™ is the majestic third ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet. Boasting 14 towering decks, a ship length of 1,115 feet and a maximum width of 125 feet, the 130,000-ton vessel includes 1,250 staterooms and has the capacity to comfortably accommodate 4,000 passengers—along with the over 1,458 Crew Members who tend to the needs of every cruise Guest each and every day.

Building on the classic style of the previous 2 ships, the Disney Magic and the Disney Wonder, the Disney Dream is a valiant vessel distinguished for its classic early 20th-century design—which harkens back to the golden age of cruising—and state-of-the-art technology. As can be expected from Disney, the cruise liner was specially designed with families in mind, combining sleek style and convenient facilities with splashes of magic and cruise-industry firsts—like the splashtacular AquaDuck, the very first water coaster at sea.

Accomodations:  Disney Dream Staterooms

Disney Cruise Line® staterooms are among the first in the industry to be designed especially for families. The Disney Dream™ layouts are well thought out, using the latest in design innovations to anticipate the needs of families and ensure the most comfortable and relaxing stay possible. Whether it’s an imaginative inside retreat or a spacious and abundantly appointed suite, accommodations allow you to travel in comfort and grand style.

Options

A perfect slice of paradise is yours to discover, with options like private verandahs that look out onto the sea and scenery, deluxe rooms with expanded space, virtual portholes for rooms without windows, as well as rooms with crystal-clear portholes—some with built-in seating. No matter your selection, each room is adorned from floor to ceiling with elegant Art Deco touches reminiscent of the glamorous 1920s and 1930s.

Experience the special Disney touches, comfort and luxury of a Disney Cruise Line® stateroom, and let enchanting interiors transform your cruise experience into a truly magical time on the high seas.
