Tauck’s New European River Cruises for 2024

Tauck has added six new itineraries to its European River Cruises for 2024. Each of these will be highlighted by an included dinner ashore, with venues from a Viennese palace to a Dutch castle on its own private island, to an Italian Renaissance-style mansion in Northern France. The average starting price for a Tauck River Cruise starts from $4,990. There are also several cruises that include pre or post-cruise hotel stays.

The 12-day Danube Kingdoms: Bavaria, Austria & Hungary includes a four-night land-based exploration of Bavaria with hotel stays in Munich and Partenkirchen, plus a seven-night cruise along the Danube visiting Passau, Linz, Salzkammergut,Cesky Krumlov, Melk, Vienna, Bratslavia and Budapest. Guests will experience an evening at a private Viennese palace, with a reception, gala dinner, and classical music performances. Visits Munich, Vilshofen, Passau, Cesky Krumlov, Linz, Melk, Vienna, Bratislava, Budapest. Sailing from May to June, then again from September to October aboard the ms Joy.

A 10-day Three Rivers: Danube, Main & Rhine departing from Amsterdam and sailing to Frankfurt, Würzburg, Nürnberg, Köln. View Cologne Cathedral towering over the Rhine, explore ancient Nijmegen, and learn about modern-day warfare at the Dutch National Military Freedom Museum before disembarking in the canal city of Amsterdam. Departures in April as well as July through October aboard the ms Joy.

The 11-day Rhine Connoisseur itinerary begins with a three-night stay at the Fairmont Montreux Palace and explores the Lavaux Vineyards, Montreux and Glacier 3000. The seven-night cruise visits Strasbourg, Rudesheim, Koblenz and Dusseldorf along the Rhine before traveling on to Gorinchem, Antwerp and Brussels. A Tauck-exclusive reception and dinner at Slot Lovenstein is included. This 14th-century castle has served as a prison, residence and toll station at the confluence of the Maas and Waal rivers. Departures in April as well as June through October aboard the ms Joy.

The eight-day River Seine: Chateaux, Impressionism & Normandy itinerary visits Auvers-sur-Oise, Les Andelys, Tilly, Mont-Saint-Michel, Etretat, Honfleur, the D-Day Beaches of Normandy, Rouen, Giverny and Le Pecq. Guests will visit the home and gardens of Claude Monet, and enjoy a private evening with tour, dinner and music at Chateau du Taillis, an Italian Renaissance mansion in Duclair, France, built-in 1530. Departures in July through August aboard the ms Sapphire.

The 8-day Hidden Waterways of Flanders and Holland sailing from Brussels to Amsterdam with stops in Bruges, Brussels, Rotterdam, Antwerp. Departures run from June to October, sailing aboard the ms Treasures.

The 14-day La Belle Vie: The Rhone, Geneva & the Riviera itinerary includes a nine-night river cruise, bookended by two, two-night hotel stays in Cannes and Geneva. An exclusive evening at Duche’ d’Uzes includes a private tour, dinner and cocktails. Visits Cannes, Nice, Aix-en-Provence, Arles, La Camargue, Avignon, Chalon-sur-Saône, Lyon, Geneva. Departures in April, July through August, and October aboard the ms Emerald.
