Dogs Now Welcome at Select Disney Resorts

As usual, there are even more things in store for Disney. Furry friends, superhero lovers, cruise goers and those who love to be pampered will enjoy some of the newest perks for Disney lovers. Check them out below.

Don’t Leave Your Dog At Home
In the past, you would have to leave your dog at home if you planned on staying at a Disney property. Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Port Orleans Resort- Riverside, Disney’s Yacht Club Resort and the cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground are among those properties that will allow two pooches per room. Upon check in they will receive a bowl, ID tags, puppy bags, potty bags and a mat. Each resort now has at least one green space as well as pet relief areas. While dog owners visit the parks, pooches can visit Disney World’s pet care facility to have their own fun. The cost for a dog to stay at a resort is $50-$75 a night dependent on the resort. Dogs will need to be up to date on vaccinations, leash trained and have overall good behavior.

See An Epic Superhero Battle
Those who love superheroes will get the chance to see some of their favorite characters face off on select Disney Magic cruises. Marvel Day at Sea features a Heroes and Villains face-off that includes special effect and stunts. Cruisers will feel as if they are in the middle of this amazing battle. In addition to this there will be meet and greets, training sessions and photo opportunities. Superheros on board will include Captain America and Iron Man just to name a few.

Get Pampered
Even though you may be staying at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, it doesn’t mean that you have to rough it. They’ve added Copper Creek Villas & Cabins, a Disney Vacation Club property and a new pool as well as new dining areas. In addition to all of this there’s a new Salon called the Salon by the Springs. Guests can enjoy mani/pedis, hair treatments and spa services.

If you are interested in booking the ultimate Disney vacation, those who choose certain Walt Disney World Resort vacations and book them by November 15, 2017 and travel sometime in 2018, they will receive a holiday gift box that includes a Walt Disney World MagicBand for all those that are in the travel party. It’s a great incentive to make that Disney dream vacation into a reality and it’s the perfect holiday gift.
