The Best Chargers For International Travel

1071

Traveling from one place to another can be difficult when all you want to do is charge your phone, but can’t find a place to do so. Often times wall sockets are different than the ones we have in America and you will need a special charger to do so. The following chargers are relatively inexpensive and some of the best ones on the market.

The MOCREO Charger
This charger has a detachable top and two USB ports so it can be used to charge tablets or similar devices. The bottom of the charger has a variety of power plugs so you can charge virtually anything you need to while traveling. Each plug is retractable making this charger fairly compact. The company claims that this may be the only charger that you will ever have to purchase when traveling abroad. It can be used in outlets that have an output of 120 and 240 volts in output.

The EasyAcc Charger
This charger is fairly different than the other ones on the list. It has two ports for charging and uses a solar panel to charge your phone. It is somewhat slow to charge, but it’s perfect for those that plan on doing things like backpacking through Europe or going camping in Cambodia. It also has a LED flashlight and a connector to hang it up. It takes about 5 hours to charge most phones and costs around $36.

The Insten Charger
This one-piece charger is very affordable at just around $6. While the plugs are not retractable, it is still fairly compact and comes with a travel pouch. It also has an LED charging indicator which comes in handy when you are charging your device. It has the ability to plug in virtually any power outlet so you can charge your devices anywhere in the world.

The MAXAH Charger
This charger is unique as it supposedly can work in any wall socket. It’s also compact which makes for easy storing in your luggage. The MAXAH charger also has a surge protector to protect your devices in case there is an issue with the electricity your device is receiving no matter where in the world you are located. This is particularly helpful in countries that have intermittent power supplies. This device can be used in power outlets that have 120 and 240 volts in output.

If you are debating on whether or not to buy a travel charger because you are worried about the price, you will be pleasantly surprised as many of them only cost around $10. Not only are they affordable, they are a must have for anybody who frequently travels outside of the country. After all, can you really put a price on having the ability to charge your smartphone or iPad while abroad?
