This event is near and dear to the south because The Atlanta Food and Wine Festival was the nation’s first culinary festival that featured southern food and beverages as the central theme. The main hub of the event is the Welcome Center that is located at 11th and Juniper. Some of the proceeds of the event will be given to organizations that are centered around southern culture and culinary arts. If you do go to this event, make sure you check out some of the other restaurants in the area as the food is phenomenal.
