Attention all you Disney lovers out there, Disney dining is back starting at the end of August. This free dining plan is valid for select vacation packages. Here’s what you need to know about this incredible deal.
How It Works
How Disney dining will work for 2015 is that guests have to purchase a Magic Your Way package that is seven days and six nights long. The package must include tickets with either the Park Hopper or Water Park Fun and More option and has to be at a select Disney Resort hotel.
Participating Resorts
Guests can choose from a variety of Disney resorts, including those in the moderate and deluxe range. These hotels include Disney’s All-Star Movies, Music and Sports Resorts, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Old Key West Resort and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge.
Dates
Bookings have to be made by July 10, 2015. Guests can utilize the dining plan August 28-October 2, October 25-31, November 8-19 or December 15-21, 2015.
Other Important Information
-There are over 100 different restaurants throughout Walt Disney World Resort where guests can take advantage of the free dining plan. A full list of participating restaurants can be found at: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/media/wdw_nextgen/CoreCatalog/WaltDisneyWorld/en_us/PDF/2015Dining.pdf
-Each night, guests participating in Disney Dining will receive either a table-service meal or a full buffet meal, a quick service meal and a snack.
-Guests will also receive a refillable drink mug that they can refill at their resort hotel as often as they would like too.
-Drinks that come with the meal have to be non-alcoholic
-For children ages 3-9 they must order from the Children’s Menu if there is one available.
-Gratuity is not included and guests should still tip their waiter.
-If you make a reservation to a restaurant you will have to give them a credit card number to hold your booking and if you don’t show up within 15 minutes of your reservation you will be charged a per person fee.
Not much is free at Walt Disney World so you might as well take advantage of free Disney Dining when you can. It might allow your family the opportunity to enjoy a variety of restaurants that aren’t normally in your vacation budget. Just remember that because of the popularity of this promotion, certain experiences like dinner shows or character dining experiences may be crowded so make sure you plan accordingly and book reservations as far in advance as you can.
