New Years Lucky Scents and Essential Oils

Smells can be very stimulating. They can help ease a headache, calm your nerves or just relax you after a long day at work. With the emergence of essential oils, you can have a small vial of any scent you want right at your fingertips and sniff it anytime you need too. Scents can bring you luck throughout the New Year as well. So are you looking for luck, love or money in 2022? Incorporate some of these New Years lucky scents in your home, car, or office in 2022. Consider using a diffuser, adding to a cotton ball or tissue and keep it near you, or purchase roller balls and apply the oil directly to the skin.  If you are applying essential oils to the skin, test a small area to make sure you don’t have an allergic reaction & buy good quality oils.  The best place to apply the essential oil is the bottom of your feet since the largest pores are there and can be absorbed into the body.  You can also make a bottle of spray.  Put 10 to 15 drops of your favorite oil mixed with 1 ounce of water into a small spray bottle and shake. Make sure to try a very small amount at first and check with your doctor if you are prone to any allergic reactions. A great way to include these in your daily life is to add essential oils to your lotion.  When you have the time, consider a hot bath with essential oils. Basil. The scent of basil can bring about protection in the coming year. It also can cleanse the environment of negative energy. We recommend a small basil plant in every kitchen for not only the smell, but for added flavor in your dishes. Bergamot. If money and success are what you are after in the New Year, bergamot is what you need. Put a few drops of it in either your purse or your wallet. Cinnamon. This scent is very stimulating. It will attract prosperity and help ward off negative energy. –Citrus. This scent can provide you with a little pick me up. It promotes spiritual renewal, spontaneity and joy. Eucalyptus. If you find yourself feeling as if there’s negative energy all around you, give Eucalyptus a try. By adding a few drops of it to your diffuser, it can purify your environment and get rid of stagnant energy. –Frankincense. If you are worried about your health in 2022, try some frankincense. It can provide purification of the body and the surrounding environment. -Ginger. This scent has been used in Asian countries for centuries to bring them luck. It can also improve your outlook on life. -Juniper Berry. Those who are feeling stressed should try sniffing juniper berry. It can improve relaxation and cleanse the environment of harmful energies. -Lavender. It’s pretty well-known that lavender promotes relaxation. It’s often used in mediation as it brings about mental clarity and calms the mind. -Mint. A few sniffs of mint is all you need to feel refreshed. It allows positive energy to flow freely. The smell of it is a welcome addition to any household. Why not keep a small pot of mint in your kitchen? Peppermint. Those that are dealing with health issues should give peppermint a try in 2022. Smelling it can get rid of headaches and tummy issues and promote good health overall. Also try peppermint tea to help with digestion. -Rose. Those who need a little luck in the love department in 2022, should diffuse rose oil. It can bring about love and encourage harmony in this area.  Add a few drops of rose oil in your face cream. -Sage. This scent can clear the air of negativity. It can also improve your emotional well being. Try burning sage incense any time you are feeling down. Please note: If you are pregnant or have a health condition, check with your doctor before using essential oils.
