What was offered by Tauck Tours for the 2010 Passion Play in Germany?

In 2010, the Passion Play included an extension on two existing land tours, a new tour and an extension to a river cruise.  Each package included the best available seating for the performance. The land packages included luxury accommodations within the heart of the alpine village of Oberammergau itself, the five-star Hotel Maximilian. The independent package featured a stay in a historic property in a nearby village.

You can visit the town of Oberammergau now on Tauck’s The Ultimate Alps & Dolomites. For those that don’t want to attend the performance but see this beautiful region, Tauck does include it on this particular tour.

Here is an overview of the 2010 Alpine Interlude tour that was offered by Tauck tours. Keep in mind this included deluxe hotels, all inclusive sightseeing, all breakfast and several highlight dinners with wine.

Savor a real taste of the Alps in a Swiss Gasthof, a famous Viennese café, an authentic Bavarian restaurant, and a 900-year-old monastery winery. Your spirits will soar as high as the mountains as you discover the Alps and the Passionsspiele with Tauck!
