Some of the Most Romantic Cities Around the World

Having some time together with your significant other is a great way to rekindle the passion between the two of you. Traveling together will allow the two of you to spend some one on one time alone without the distractions of daily life. If you are looking to go on a vacation with your loved one, you should visit one of the most romantic cities in the world.

Paris

It might sound cliché to say that Paris is one of the most romantic cities in the world, but it truly is! Every part of the city screams romance; from the architecture to the flowers to even the people.  Parisians can feel the love in the air despite the fact that they are locals. It’s not uncommon to see lovers cuddling together while they watch a sunset by the Seine river. It’s the perfect city to hold hands and take a stroll with your loved one. We recommend walking down the tree-lined Champs-Elysses at night to the Arc de Triomphe.  Visit the Eiffel Tower during the day & enjoy a picnic lunch. Visit the Luxembourg Palace & Gardens to stroll among the flowerbeds, fountains & statues. One of the most popular attractions is The Pont de l’Archevêché Bridge. Lovers can place a lock on the bridge to signify their bond forever.  Locks are available for purchase from nearby vendors.  Go to Montmartre which is set on a hilltop in Northern Paris. Not only are there quaint cafes and shops, but you can enjoy breathtaking views of the city. Venice

The entire city of Venice looks as if it’s from a movie. From the fairytale-looking architecture to the beautiful canals, it’s the perfect city for romance. The best way to get around Venice is by foot. This allows for long walks over the city’s numerous bridges and through the town square. One of the most romantic things to do in Venice is to go down a canal on a gondola while your partner serenades you. If he or she can’t sing, not to worry, plenty of the gondoliers have a great voice.  My husband took out his I-phone and played Andrea Bocelli. The problem was we had a shared gondola and not our own, so it was not romantic, and I’ve told him he owes me a trip back to Venice lol, but this blog isn’t about me. The most famous place to kiss in Venice is under the Bridge of Sighs while on a gondola.  For an amazing view of Venice, go to the top of the bell tower where you will have an amazing view of the city.  Enjoy a sunset in Saint Mark’s Square.  The most romantic thing to do in my opinion it to get lost walking all of the quaint streets and bridges of Venice. Buenos Aires

The city of Buenos Aires combines romance and excitement. The area is known for the numerous amounts of tango clubs in the city. Nothing can bring you and your partner closer than holding each other close and dancing the night away. Enjoy the beautiful sunrise along the beaches and explore local markets hand in hand.  The city has beautiful architecture with a European flair. No matter where you are in Buenos Aires, you can usually find a secluded spot to enjoy a glass of wine with your lover.

Have you visited a romantic city lately? If not, now’s a perfect time to go. We can help you plan a trip that both you and your partner won’t forget.
